Mr. Inbasekar Sundaramurthi
Consul General of India to Barcelona

Mr. Inbasekar Sundaramurthi, born on 15 February 1978 in the Southern Indian State of Tamil Nadu, joined Indian Foreign Service on 13.09.2004. He has served in Indian Missions in France, Cote d’Ivoire, Pakistan, Belgium and Russian Federation. He has worked in the Americas Division, Conference Cell, Southern Division and Indo Pacific Divisions of the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.

Before joining as the Consul General of India at CGI, Barcelona, he served as the High Commissioner of India to independent State of Papua New Guinea and High Commissioner of India to the Solomon Islands.

Mr. Inbasekar Sundaramurthi holds Bachelor of Technology degree in Industrial Biotechnology.

Mr. Inbasekar Sundaramurthi speaks fluent French, English, Hindi and Tamil.

He is married to Pooja and has a son and a daughter.
